PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy outlines the practices and procedures affecting users of the following website(s) (collectively, the “Site”): JobMapper.com. We created this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) to describe the general types of information that we will collect from you in connection with your use of the Site and how we may use such information in connection with the products and services we provide to you, other users of this Site, and other third parties. By using our Site, you consent to the collection and use of information by us as outlined in this Policy.

Public Postings.  We may provide chat rooms, message boards, news groups, searchable databases, and other public forums and areas available to you on this Site, and any information you post on these forums will be our property.  Please understand that any information that is disclosed in these public areas will become public information, and we will have no control over its use or disclosure.  You should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information in any of these public forums.

    • We may disclose the Information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on us or any of our parent companies, subsidiaries, or affiliates, (ii) protect and defend our rights and property or the rights and property of other users of the Site or Third Parties, (iii) act under exigent circumstances to protect the safety of the public or users of the Site, and (iv) in connection with any investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringement, or other activity that is illegal or may expose us to legal liability.
    • We may disclose and transfer the Information in connection with a sale or merger of our business or its assets (or the business or assets of any parent, subsidiaries, or affiliates).  We may sell some or all of the assets of our company, or buy some or all of the assets of other companies, which may include the Information collected through this Site.  In addition, if we become involved in a bankruptcy we (or any trustee under the bankruptcy) may sell, license, or otherwise dispose of the Information collected on this Site in a transaction approved in connection with such bankruptcy.
  4. Modifications of Personal Information.  You may modify any personal information that you have entered on the Site by logging into the Site and modifying your profile or your account information.
  5. Lost or Stolen Information.  You must promptly notify us if your credit card, user name, or password is lost, stolen, or used without permission.  In such an event, we will remove that credit card number, user name, or password from your account and update our records accordingly.
  6. Security.  The Site has security measures in place to prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of the Information that we obtain, but we make no assurances about our ability to prevent any such loss, misuse, or alteration to you, or to any third party arising out of any such loss, misuse, or alteration.
  7. Third-Party Links.  This Policy only applies to this Site.  The Site may contain links to other websites that are not operated or controlled by us, and when you click on one of those links you are entering another website.  Please be aware that these websites may collect information about you, and operate according to their own privacy practices that may differ from this Policy.  The placement of links on the Site does not imply that we endorse or warrant the content on any third party website.  You are responsible to read the terms of use and privacy policies for those sites, as they may differ from these terms of use and this Policy for the Site.
  8. Cookies; Graphic Indicators.  From time to time, we may use the standard “cookies” feature of major browser applications that allows us to store a small piece of data on your computer about your visit to the Site.  You can choose whether to accept cookies by changing the settings on your browser.  However, if you choose to disable this function, your experience at our Site may be diminished and some features may not work as they were intended.  We may also embed electronic images known as graphic information files on the pages of the Site which assist us in counting the number of users that visit the Site and other provide other Information about the usage of the Site.  In most cases, you will be unable to view these electronic image files.
  9. Policy Revisions.  We reserves the right to revise, amend, alter, or modify this Policy and our other policies and agreements in connection with the Site at any time, and in any manner, without any written notice to you.  Any such changes shall be effective immediately upon posting on the Site.  It is your responsibility to review this Policy from time to time to ensure that you continue to agree with all terms of its use.  If you do not agree to any provision of this Privacy Policy, or any update or modification thereto, please do not use the Site.
  10. Notice Concerning Children.  We are a general audience site, and do not direct any of our content specifically at children under 13 years of age.
  11. No Warranties.  Due to technical, legal, and practical limitations, we cannot warrant and do not guarantee, and you should not expect, that all of your private communications and other Information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Policy.  You acknowledge that third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, and you acknowledge that when you disclose your e-mail address or other identifying Information, we cannot prevent any third party from contacting you on an unsolicited basis.
