Brentwood Community Information

In 1879 the city of Brentwood was established. In three years time the city had a population of one hundred residents. Early in its history Brentwood was the largest shipping point for grains between New Orleans and San Francisco. In 1962 the Brentwood city hall was built on Third Street. Ten years later the Brentwood Library was built on the same street. It is the site of offices, restaurants, a movie theatre and small stores.
