Burbank Community Information

Burbank is a beautiful city located in the eastern part of the San Fernando Valley. Burbank's history began when Dr. David Burbank purchased portions of the area in 1867. Later the city became established in 1911 with a population of 500. As of recent the town has attracted several motion picture studios and many people in the entertainment industry to move to this fine area. During the 60's the network NBC built its studios there. Also the aviation industry is a big part of the area. Burbank is home to one of the largest airports in Los Angeles County.
